Update May 29, 2011: Please see this post for the answer to the above question.
The NCGC Pharmaceutical Collection (NPC), as we noted earlier, is a result of our ongoing efforts to construct a definitive informatics and screening resource for drug repurposing. Much of our recent efforts have been dedicated toward making this resource easily and readily accessible. To that end, we’re now releasing an updated version of the NPC browser that contains the latest version of the NPC dataset in its entirety. To the best of our knowledge, this dataset constitutes the most up to date records of all compounds that have been approved for human and veterinary use. The dataset is by no means complete and bug free. We welcome comments and feedback to help improve on the data quality and coverage. The NPC resource is available here.
